Resources for the Resourceful: Refrigeration Tables

I’m working on my next post on the W7212, but in preparing for a class I’m doing this week, I ran into a really nice resource I wanted to share;  specifically, the National Refrigerants web site.

In addition to (in my opinion) having a very visually appealing home page, the site contains a number of useful references that you may want to add to your technical library.

One is a Reference Guide that includes characteristics of virtually every refrigerant out there along with other useful information. They also have a Pressure-Temperature Chart that you can print with tables for all of the refrigerants we generally run into in HVAC (and then some) and a glossary of refrigeration terminology. There are also Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all of the products they carry, which can come in handy some times.

So that’s it;  just a quick note to point you to a cool site with some useful information if you are working with refrigeration.
